This course introduces the essential concepts of computer science and their practical applications in the field of food science. Students will learn the basics of computer hardware, software, data management, and computational tools commonly used for research, analysis, and quality control in food industries. Through hands-on activities and blended learning modules, students will develop skills in using spreadsheets, writing, and presentation tools to solve real-world problems and support decision-making in food science. They will also learn how to professionally communicate with the real world through email, sop and cv writing. By the end of the course, students will gain the digital literacy and technical foundation needed for advanced studies and professional applications in the food sector.
