Course objectives: 

This course focuses on understanding the basic Chemistry and its application in Engineering fields. It discuss about the structure of atom, periodic table, chemical bonding, acid-base and pH indicator, chemical equilibrium, solvents and solutions and properties of water and aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon.

 -To develop the fundamental concept of basic chemistry.

-To introduce with the modern theory of chemistry and compare with the previous one.
