    Dear Students,

    Welcome to Electrical Circuits with Lab (CSE132 and CSE133). Hope you are safe and healthy. I am Md. Hasan Imam Bijoy, Lecturer, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and the course teacher of this wonderful course.

    We all know that this is an all-time challenging situation in the world as well as in Bangladesh. I am congratulating you all to participate in the world-class online DIU BLC Classroom during this pandemic. I will try my best to provide all the necessary support to you so that you would be able to learn smoothly and effectively using the available online tools and also using the wonderful tools provided by our beloved institution Daffodil International University.

    • Course Description

      This course will provide the basic knowledge of electrical circuits. Students should be able to identify, define, and describe different components and relevant terms, laws, and theorems. Students also should be able to apply and analyse the knowledge in basic electrical circuits. This course will help the students to gain theoretical knowledge and will also help to do hardware implementation in the course of basic electronics, digital electronics, embedded systems, IoT and robotics.

      The objective of this course is to provide an introduction to Fundamental electrical concepts and give brief knowledge about Laws of electrical circuits and methods of network analysis. This course covers DC voltage, current, resistance and power, Principles of DC measuring apparatus. This course will also discuss on the Alternating current- instantaneous and rms current, voltage and power, average power, power for various combinations of R, L and C circuits.

      To be able to know different electrical terms and define them with examples

      To be able to describe  the basic principles, laws and theorems of electrical circuits

      To develop hand-son skills and knowledge about the electrical and Electronic equipment and components such as DC Power Supply, Trainer Board, Bread Board, multimeter, voltmeter, ammeter, rheostats, potentiometer, resistors etc.

      To implement different types of basic electrical circuits using the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools vital for engineering practice.

      CO3

      To analyse basic networks of rheostats, potentiometers, resistors, switches etc practically using the basic theoretical knowledge

      1. You can choose any topic regarding Electrical Circuits Course
      2. You can make your group with a maximum of 5-6 students
      3. You have to wear formal clothes
      4. You have to prepare a PPTX to present your topics
      5. Each group will get 8 minutes maximum to present their topics
      6. Then, a Q&A session will be held (2 minutes).
