Course Description:

This course will facilitate the students with necessary understandings and skills on the principles of interpersonal, group and organizational communication with an emphasis on developing interpersonal skills, ability and attitude towards working in a group which will facilitate the students to understand the dynamics of various organizations. The students, after the course, will be confident to develop a positive attitude towards developing acceptability and credibility among the social and working groups which will help facilitate them to work in various environments. They will develop soft skills and interpersonal skills, conflict transformation, leadership and negotiation skills.


Course Objectives:

The specific Objectives are to

  1. Enable the students to cultivate in-depth understanding on interpersonal skills, group communication process, organizational communication and culture
  2. Facilitate    the   students   to    develop   positive    attitude   towards   effective interpersonal communication in the society, presentation skills, acceptability and credibility in various groups
  3. Equip the students to develop self-image which will give them distinct identity
  4. Make the students to think differently and proactively about developing interpersonal relationships

By the end of the course, student will be able to:
