Course Objectives:

 b.      To describe electrical measuring instruments.

 c.       To illustrate the construction and application of PMMC, moving iron meter, energy meter.

 d.      To understand different methods of measuring resistance, capacitance and inductance.

e.      To be able to compute the measuring methods via mathematical problems.

f.        To distinguish electronic meters.

g.      To classify of different measurement techniques.

h.      To identify the use of different instruments use in particular application.

i.        To understand the theory on which measuring equipment’s working principles are based on.

j.        To be able to choose proper instrument and various application of measuring electrical and electronic quantities.

 k.      To appraise computer based instrument systems, data acquisition systems.
