An agreement where one or more person promise to others to do or not to do something.

Other hand,a contract is an agreement which is enforceable by law.In agreement, there must be -1.An agreement (Set of promises)                          2.An agreement must be forceable by law.

All contracts are agreements but all agreements are not contracts.A contract is an agreement to creat an obligation. But there are other transactions which are based on agreements and which also obligations but are not called contracts.Agreements which are enforceable by law are contracts and constitutes a legal binding on parties involved.

An agreement is a broader term referring to a mutual understanding or arrangement between parties, while a contract is a legally binding and enforceable agreement that involves specific terms, conditions, and obligations. In essence, all contracts are agreements, but not all agreements meet the legal requirements to be considered contracts.
