Therefore, to comprehend the system structure, segments and other applicable devices and procedure is an absolute necessity. This course will give a prologue to the field data communications, Layered design of LAN, MAN and WAN, fundamentals of signalling, basic transmission concepts, error detection and correction etc. Course Objectives: To provide a solid conceptual understanding of the fundamentals of data communications.
