When alcohol is oxidized,it becomes aldehydes and it is further oxidized to become carboxilic acid.

How can we stop the further oxidization of aldehyde?

We know that,
When 1° degree alcohol oxidized,it becomes aldehyde than it will further oxidized and becomes carboxilic acid
With the presence of jones reagent/kMnO4/crO3+H plus or Acid Medium
*But it is possible or we can stop the further oxidation of aldehyde.
Now the question is how?
If we use CrO3 + CH2Cl2 with 1°alcohol as solvent it will possible to stop further oxidation of aldehyde.
But it will must remember if we want to stop further oxidizing we must to given CrO3+CH2Cl2&It will not acedic medium not water
Thank you siam
