1. What is dual boot? 

Ans: Running more than 1 OS on a particular machine.

2. What is Swap area?

Ans: Area for temporarily storing data for processing when the main memory is full.

Ans: Mount point is a directory in a file system where additional information is logically connected from a storage location outside the operating system's root drive and partition.

4. What is file system?

Ans: File system is a process that manages how and where data on a storage disk, typically a hard disk drive (HDD), is stored, accessed and managed.

Ans: ext4 is the filesystem used in GNU/linux.

Ans: 2, Basic and Dynamic.

7. What is basic disk?

Ans: Basic disk is a disk that contains partitions, such as primary partitions and logical drives, and these in turn are usually formatted with a file system to become a volume for file storage

Ans: Dynamic disk is a disk that contains volumes that span multiple disks and fault-tolerant volumes such as RAID-0, RAID-1 etc.
