1. What is dual boot? 

ans: Dual boot is using two operating systems in one system.

2. What is Swap area? 

ans : Swap area is a specific partition in HDD which use for virtual memory(RAM + Secondary memory)

3. What is Mount point? 

ans: Mount point is a directory that is a  part of a root file system.

4. What is a file system? 

ans: A file system is a system which defines how directories and file are organized e.g ReFS file system use B+ tree. 

5. What is ext4?

ans: ext4 is a file system used in linux OS.

6. How many disk types are there in system? 

ans: Two type of disk i)basic and ii) dynamic.

7. What is basic disk? 

ans: basic disk uses normal partition tables found in MS-DOS and Windows to manage all partitions on the hard disk.

8. What is dynamic disk? 

ans: In dynamic disk HDD divided into dynamic volume.

9. Which disk type is being used in YOUR own PC? 

ans: My Laptop uses the basic disk.

10. What is the problem of dynamic disk during ubuntu installation? 

ans: It's not possible to install OS in a logical partition.

11. How many partition types are there in system? 

ans: Two types of partition exist is MBR and GPT.

12. What is MBR partition? 

ans: MBR partition contains a boot loader for the installed operating system and information about the drive’s logical partitions. MBR only supports Four partitions on a disk.

13. What is GPT partition? 

ans: GPT is a partitioning system where disk size can be more than 2TB and partition size can be unlimited.

14. Which partition type is being used in your own PC? 

ans: GPT

15. How many BIOS mode you have? 

ans: One.

16. What is UEFI Mode? 

ans: UEFI is BIOS firmware used latest model computer.

17. What is BIOS/legacy mode? 

ans: legacy boot is the boot process used by basic input/output system firmware.

18. Which BIOS mode is being used in your system? 

ans: UEFI

19. What is the difference between UEFI and Legacy Mode? 

ans: the difference between UEFI and legacy boot is that the UEFI is the latest method of booting a computer that is designed to replace BIOS while the legacy boot is the process of booting the computer using BIOS firmware.

20. What is benefit of LTS ubuntu version? 

ans: Latest ubuntu version have less bug than previous version, better interface, new feature might added.
