1. Dual boot is the act of installing multiple operating systems on a single computer.

2. Swap area is a space in a hard disk. It is a part of your machine's Virtual Memory, which is a combination of accessible physical memory (RAM) and the swap space. 

3. A mount point is a directory in a file system where additional information is logically connected from a storage location outside the operating system's root drive and partition. 

4. In a computer file system  controls how data is stored and retrieved.

5. Ext4  or fourth extended filesystem is a journaling file system for Linux operating system.

6. There are two types of disk types in a system and they are Basic and Dynamic.

7. Basic disks are the storage types which most often used in Windows operating system.

8. Dynamic disk is a disk that has been initialized for dynamic storage is called a dynamic disk.

9.  Basic disk is being used in my PC. 

10.  Ubuntu's bootloader can't recognize a Microsoft dynamic disk and as a result Ubuntu can not boot from it.

11. There are two partition type and they are Primary and Logical.

12. Master Boot Record is called MBR partition. It's an old partitioning scheme.

13. GPT stands for GUID Partition Table. It's a new partitioning scheme which overcomes all the limitations of MBR partitioning scheme.

14. I am using GPT  using partitioning scheme in my PC. 

15. There are two BIOS mode I have and they are Legacy and UEFI.

16. Unified Extensible Firmware Interface is called UEFI mode.

17. Legacy boot is the boot process used by basic input/output system (BIOS) firmware

18. I am using Legacy BIOS mode in my system? 

19. UEFI offers mouse support and a GUI but Legacy BIOS doesn't.

20. LTS receives bug fixes and security updates for a longer period of time than other builds.

21. BIOS stands for Basic Input/output System.

22. MBR stands for Master Boot Record.

23. GPT stands for GUID Partition Table.

24. UEFI stands for Unified Extensible Firmware Interface.

25. LTS stands for Long Term Support.
