From the introductory sessions. I have learned the basic of Literary theory and characteristics of them. So I'm going to point 5 important literary theories.

Liberal Humanism:
* Liberal Humanism is a modern literary theory to do approach in literary texts. 
* It is based on the nature of man and its defects on the society.
Every literary theory has its origin and its inters-irrelativeness with other theories.

Formalism:
* Formalism approach reduces the importance of a text's historical, biographical, and cultural context.

New criticism:
* formalist movement in literary theory that dominated American literary criticism in the middle decades of the 20th century.
* It emphasized close reading, particularly of poetry, to discover how a work of literature functioned as a self-contained.

Deconstruction:
It involves the close reading of texts in order to demonstrate that any given text has irreconcilably contradictory meanings, rather than being a unified, logical whole.

Marxism:
* Marxism was introduced by Karl Marx. Most Marxist critics, who were writing in what could chronologically be specified as the early period of Marxist literary criticism
* It's deal with clash between classes.
