*This theory talks about how the bourgeoisie rule over the proletariat. 

*Marxism is a theory of capitalism. 

*Deals with clash between classes. 


2.Modernism -


*Loss of identity. 

*Loss of sense of tradition. 

*It happens when increasing the dominance of technology. 


3.post Colonialism 


*post colonial in literature includes the study of theory  and literature as it’s relates to the colonizer. 

*Free from modern constructs of history. 

*It represents that how first  world countries (European ruled and controlled "Third world " cultures and how these group have since responded to and resisted those encroachments. 


4.Liberal Humanism -


* It must reveal a constant or Universal truth about humanity. 

* Good literature is of timeless significance. 

*The literary text contains It's own meaning within itself. 


5.Deconstruction -



*It means multiple meanings. 

*invites us to "unravel " the constructs around us and to re-examine appearance and reality.

*Seeks to show that a literary work is self contradictory.
