Differences between job description and descriptions are given below:

1. Job Description:

A job description is a written statement showing job title, tasks, duties and responsibilities involved in a job. A written statement of what the worker actually does, how he or she does it, and what the job’s working conditions are.

Common format: Title; duties; roles, environmental conditions; authority and responsibilities.

2. Job Specification:

Job specification tells about the skills, knowledge and qualities which are required in a specific job like as what should be the educational qualification, skills, etc. which are necessary to a job profile
