That is, following things are directed considered as social determinant of health:

  • Availability of resources, such as educational, job, foods etc.
  • Social norms and attitudes
  • Exposure to crime, violence, and social disorder
  • Social support and social interactions
  • Exposure to mass media and emerging technologies
  • Environment and housing
  • Early childhood development process

Material culture consists of things that are created by humans. Examples include cars, buildings, clothing, and tools. Non-material culture refers to the abstract ideas and ways of thinking that make up a culture. Examples of non-material culture include traffic laws, words, and dress codes.
