1.Capitalmarket : A captive market is a market in which consumers have very little choice because there is no competition. Consumers cannot buy anywhere else.
Examples of captive-market environments include the food markets in cinemas, airports,college textbooks, US cable companies, the Kosher food market in the United Kingdom.
2.Non-captive market – the customer has an open choice of opportunities. Captive market – the customer does not have a choice of operation.
Example : Traditional, street-level free-standing and in-line restaurant and co-branded with other retail food service concepts.
