  The Registration Act is very important and necessary  Act.  It is an Act of 1908.  What documents to register, where to register, who to present etc. are specified by the Registration Act.  The Registration Act supplemented the Evidence Act.

 (1) Settlement of Disputes: A dispute may arise between several parties regarding any property.  In this case the document registered by this Act puts an end to the said dispute.

 (2) Prevention of fraud: The Registration Act has made it possible to prevent fraud or fraud.

(3) Preparation of Copy of Jabeda: If any original document is lost or damaged, details of the original document can be known through copy of Jabeda.

(4) Supplementation of Evidence Act: The Evidence Act is supplemented by the Registration Act.  Because documentary evidence is very important.  Such evidence need not be proved.

 (5) Miscellaneous Provisions: Provisions of Registrar, Sub-Registrar, Registration in: General etc. are introduced by this Act.

(6) Establishment of Ownership: One of the objectives of the Registration Act was to establish ownership. 

 Service of notice: By notice under the Registration Act, notice is given to all that a document has been executed.  That is, no one can transfer this property except the concerned person.
