PROFESSOR DR. M. LUTFAR RAHMAN

A pioneer of Computer education and research in Bangladesh, Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman is the Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University (DIU), Dhaka. Previously Dr. Rahman served DIU as the Vice Chancellor (2011-2015) and Emeritus Professor (2015-2020). He was the founding Vice-Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, Bangladesh (2008-2009) and the founding Chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka. Dr. Rahman, having teaching and research experience in Bangladesh and abroad, obtained B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. in Physics from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University, England.
