Liberal Humanism:
* The phrase denotes the contemporary epoch's dominant assumption, meaning, and ideals;
* Considers art or poetry to be timeless. It enlightens us on a universal reality about humanity.
Structuralism:
* Examines the underlying structure;
* Texts cannot be comprehended in isolation;
* Texts must be understood in context.
Post-structuralism
*An anti-structuralist movement that employs analytical concepts from linguistics, psychology, anthropology, and other disciplines.
* A detailed and critical response to Structuralism's main assumptions.
Marxism:
* A political and economic philosophy in which there are no classes in society;
* Deals with class conflict
* Proletariat dictatorship
Post -colonialism
*It refers to the body of theoretical literature that existed throughout the post-European empire period, as well as the school of thought that existed during that time.
*Examines works by transporting us back in time and space (resurrect culture)
* Free of current historical structures
