 Health education regarding Covid-19:

Health education is a vital decipline in the practice of public health. Health education, promotion and disease prevention programs focus on keeping people healthy. Health education programs aim to engage and empower individuals and communities to choose healthy behaviors, and make changes that reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases and other morbidities. During this pandemic situation health education about Covid-19 are:

•      Clean hands often. Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.

•      Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.

•      Wear a mask when physical distancing is not possible.

•      Don’t touch eyes, nose or mouth.

•      Cover nose and mouth with bent elbow or a tissue when cough or sneeze.

•      Stay home if feel unwell.

•      If have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention.

•      Calling in advance allows healthcare provider to quickly.

•      Masks can help prevent the spread of the virus from the person wearing the mask to others. Masks alone do not protect against COVID-19, and should be combined with physical distancing and hand hygiene. Follow the advice provided by your local health authority.
