1. Abraham Maslow's- Hierarchy theory
=Its a theory of motivation which states that five categories of human needs dictate an individual's behavior. Those needs are physiological needs, safety needs, love and belonging needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs.
2. Henry Mintzber- Managerial roles
= Henry Mintzber believes that skills are learned through experience and cannot simply be taught in the classroom.
3. Winslow Taylor's- Scientific Management Theory
= In this, he proposed that by optimizing and simplifying jobs, productivity would increase. He also advanced the idea that workers and managers needed to cooperate with one another.
4. Henri Fayol's- Principal of Management:
Henri Fayol states that the managerial function (which acts only on the personnel) and the performance of the body corporate depend on some principles. These principles are flexible and can be adapted to different circumstances and needs.
5. Mc Gregor's - Theory of X and Theory Y:
Theory X and theory Y are part of motivational theories. Both the theories, which are very different from each other, are used by managers to motivate their employees. Theory X gives importance to supervision, while theory Y stresses on rewards and recognition.
