Environment is the accumulation of living and non-living things existing in a society, whereas, resource stands for anything that can be used to satisfy a need. Resources are found in the environment. Environmental resource management means the management between the interaction and impact of human societies on the environment. Environmental resource management works to identify the factors affected by conflicts that rise between meeting needs and protecting resources. This is important as it aims to ensure that ecosystem services are protected and maintained for future human generations, and also maintain ecosystem integrity through considering ethical, economic, and scientific (ecological) variables.
