Lysosome and peroxisome are same in functions and that is to kill the harmful microorganisms and cells of our body but they have some difference in characters like,

1. Lysosome is found in only animals but peroxixome is found in all eukaryotes.

2. Lysosome have degradable enzymes but peroxixome has oxidative enzymes.

3. Degradative reactions don't produce energy but oxidative reactions in peroxisome for having the oxidative enzyme produces ATP.

4. Mainly works for the digestions of nutrients in the cells but on the other hand peroxisomes work for the protection of cells against metabolic hydrogen peroxide.

5. Lysosome is larger than peroxisome in physical size.

6. Lysosome is derived from Golgi apparatus but peroxisome mainly derived from endoplasmic reticulum.

Difference between lysosomes and peroxisomes are:

1. Lysosomes have enzymes that work in oxygen-poor areas and lower pH.Peroxisomes hold on to enzymes that require oxygen (oxidative enzymes).

2. Lysosomes found in animal cells.  Peroxisomes found in all eukaryotes.

3. Lysosomes are basically large in size. Peroxisomes are small.

4. Lysosomes consist of degradative enzymes. Peroxisomes consists of oxidative enzymes.

The basic difference between lysosomes and peroxisome are :

1.Lysosomes are initially responsible for intracellular Digestion but peroxisome are responsible for the protection against the major toxic substances produced inside cell.

2. Lysosomes is found in animal but peroxisome is found in all the eukaryotes.

3. Lysosomes is larger than peroxisome in size

4. Lysosomes contain the enzyme hydrolase on the other hand peroxisome contains oxidative enzyme.

5. Lysosomes is derived from golgi apparatus on the other hand peroxisome is derived from endoplasmic reticulum.

Lysosomes separate organic polymers like proteins and polysaccharides. It comprises of degradative proteins.

Peroxisomes oxidize organic compounds, breaking down metabolic hydrogen peroxides.
It  consist of oxidative enzymes

Lysosomes contain hydrolase. This is the component or enzyme that is responsible for digestion. Peroxisomes, on the other hand, contain three oxidative enzymes such as catalase, D-amino acid oxidase, and uric acid oxidase.

The enzymes they contain are different from lysosomes. Peroxisomes retain enzymes that require oxygen (oxidative enzymes). Lysosomev shave enzyme works in oxygen-poor regions and low pH. Peroxisomes absorb the nutrients that the cell received.

The basic difference between lysosome and peroxysome is that they vary from lysosomes in the kind of enzyme they carry .
and the other basic differences are -
1 . Lysosomes consists of degradative enzymes . Peroxisomes consists of oxidative enzymes .
2 . Lysosomes are only found in animals . Peroxisomes are found in all eukaryotes.
3 . Lysosomes are comparatively large in size . Peroxisomes are small in size .
4 . Degravative reactions in the lysosomes do not generate energy . but In peroxisome oxidative reactions generate ATP energy .
