In this chapter, I learned that cultural differences play a big role in international business. Businesses need to understand and respect different cultures to succeed in global markets. Culture is the shared values, beliefs, and norms of a group of people, shaping how they think and behave.

Culture, society, and nation-states are related because society is a group of people sharing a common culture, while a nation-state is a political entity with its own government. Culture is determined by factors like religion, language, education, and social norms.

A social structure is how a society is organized, including relationships and roles among individuals. Social stratification refers to the division of society into different classes based on factors like wealth, power, and status. Understanding these concepts is important when working across different societies.
