The above-attached photo indicates the Floor Crossing Law which is adopted under the Article 70 of Bangladesh Constitution and provides that if a party member votes against his party will in the parliament, he or she shall vacate his\her  seat in the parliament. The main rationale to adopt this law was the political incident that happened in 1954 in East Pakistan. This law is somehow undemocratic due to the violation of freedom of speech but it helps maintain political stability in the country.  Therefore the Government should take necessary measures to find an alternative solution so that political stability can be ensured by not violating one's fundamental rights.
