According to Article 118 clause, “There must be an Election commission for Bangladesh and there highest 5 members when they make a committee. Where one person will be chief election commissioner and the highest other four election commissioners”

And the term of office of an election commission shell be fine years from the date on which he enters upon his office and according to Article 118(3):

As a chief election commissioner, he is not eligible for appointment in the service of the republic. According to Article 119 un-election commission work in two types firstly they make parliament vote for the president and another is a general election.

And under Article 121 there shall be one electoral roll for each constituency for the purposes of election to parliament under Article 123 before the president's seat will be vacant office an election to till the vacancy shall be held within the period of ninety to sixty days prior to the date of expiration.

And there is not vacant seat for expiration of time but it is for removal resignation or death according to 123(2) the election has to make under 90 days.

And according to Article 126, any executive authorities always help or assist the election commission.
