    This course attempts to strengthen students’ knowledge about Supercritical fluid dyeing, Solvent scouring, Solvent dyeing, Foam technology, Color vision, CCMS system, Nano technology, Salt free dyeing etc.

    General Course Description : 

    • Course Title: Specialized Wet Process
    • Course Code: TE 421
    • Credit Hours: 3 (Theory, 3 contact hours per week) 
    • Prerequisite: 0723-217, TE 313, TE 337
    • Course Level: Level 4 Term 1

    Course Outcomes:

    After the completion of this course students will be able to-

    1. Describe innovative wet processes such as SCF dyeing in textiles.
    2. Demonstrate about the environmental sustainability with the use of foam/solvents to reduce water consumption in dyeing  
    3. Analyze color and interpret its different theories.

    4. Explain and analyze problems during color formulation and color matching using computers among various samples in dyeing industries of Bangladesh.

    5. Develop ideas about new dyeing technology for salt free reactive dyeing on cotton, eco processing, nano technology etc.
    6. Identify and compare yarn dyeing machines, methods and also conventional and modern garments washing techniques.
