Summary
Elizabethan and Jacobean Literature (Spring 2023)
This course is intended to provide students with a clear understanding of Elizabethan & Jacobean literature and its reception in contemporary culture, in order to facilitate independent critical thinking. It also considers the views of the relationship between passion and reason, flesh and spirit, body and soul, matter and spirit presented in the literature of this period.
