This course intends to explore fiction and non-fiction as separate genres of literature. It will help students to develop skills in literary analysis, including comprehension of the narrative techniques, fundamentals of character, point of view, theme and action. After completing this course, students will be able to- a. define and explain fiction and non-fiction as genres of literature; b. identify and explain narrative techniques, fundamentals of characters, point of view, theme and action of any particular fiction and non-fiction; c. deconstruct and evaluate any fiction and non-fiction to produce a critical analysis
