This is a core course of Textile Engineering program. The course has been designed to encourage students to experiment, innovate and become ethical and conscientious aspirants of good designs. The subtext of the course focuses on giving the students hands-on experience regarding woven and knitted fabric design techniques to investigate, analyze and evaluate reference materials.

The students will learn this course via Ice-breaking, Lecture, Brain storming, Case study, Creating situation, Problem solving, Project, Group discussion/argument, Assigning Tasks, Questioning, Participation & Assessment
