Students will learn about  a very special period of English Literature and its historical and literary significance. Students will learn the story of Dr. Faustus, the vocabulary, the allusions and other historical information related to the books. Students will produce a modern version of the text(short script). Students will act out seven deadly sins. Students may also act out the original drama. Students will try to write abstract and send to some journals for acceptance. From Bacon's essay students will learn the vocabulary. They will read the essays thoroughly. Students may also study Volpone and Faerie Queen in the similar style.
