Moreover, we together will try to learn how to communicate properly in English in any given environment especially in business. 1. Course Summary:
The students will learn English in an EFL context. They are young adults with high intermediate-low advanced English language proficiency. The course is designed to synchronize and enhance the knowledge of the students between the practical and theoretical areas by conducting practical lab experience on grammatical understanding, and communication skills, especially reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills which enable students to make be more market-oriented and get ready for the job market. They meet their teachers twice a week (180 minutes per week). The length of each meeting is 90 minutes and the students are expected to practice and acquire the required skills both for academic and daily purposes.
2. Course Objectives:
The course will enable the students with practice to get ready with the communication skills required both in their academic and daily purposes. These will also help them get good exposure to the job market. After having a comprehensive and practical idea on grammar, listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading and writing, the students will be able to understand any type of text easily and communicate more fluently in practical life.

Learning Outcome :
At the end of the course:
Students will learn effective business communication, including writing business correspondence, negotiations, formal presentations, informal networking, business vocabulary, report and proposal writing, vocabulary for professional purposes, and reading for professional purposes.

- What is Business English and communication?
For others it refers to the communication skills used in the workplace, and focuses on the language and skills needed for typical business communication such as presentations, negotiations, meetings, small talk, socializing, correspondence, report writing, and a systematic approach. -
Aims:
To introduce the basics of tone and pronunciation in
Mandarin Chinese in the context of everyday greetings.

Learning Objectives :
Students will be able to identify the verb and tense in a sentence by circling and labeling. Students will be able to write a sentence using the past, present, or future tenseUpon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Use present, past, and future tenses with appropriate time markers
- Recognize present perfect, past perfect and future perfect tenses and their progressive forms
- Use perfect tenses with increasing accuracy
- Demonstrate control in using irregular verbs in the above tenses
