ESDM 403: Research Method (Project Design)
This course is designed to give the students an understanding of the basic concepts and techniques of environmental research. The course will cover both scientific and social research which contain analysis and result preparation and discussion using advanced technologies. Project report/ thesis paper/ journal paper writing will also be included in this course. After completion of this course students will able to conduct future research and write thesis/ journal paper.

The specific objectives of this course are:
· To learn preparation of research plan, research hypothesis, research design, sample collection, data collection procedures/ methodology, data processing and analysis.
· To know proposal and thesis/ journal paper writing procedures by case study analysis. -
