      Learning Objectives : 

      • The course intends to equip students with factual knowledge and analytical skills that will enable them to learn and critically appreciate history, politics, and economy of Bangladesh. 
      • It will trace the historical root of Bangladesh as an independent state focusing on the social, economic and political developments that have taken place since its independence. 
      • It will also identify the major socio-economic, political, environmental and developmental issues that have arisen during this period, before assessing the progress over time. 

      Learning Outcomes :

      • The aims of the course is to acquaint the students with the socio -economic phenomena of Bangladesh.
      • The knowledge will assist the students of business school to view the business world of Bangladesh with economic lens.
      • The course not only furnishes the students with economic lens but also shows how to use the for Bangladesh. Knowledge of the course will help to understand the trend of economic variables, business phenomena and socio-economic condition of people.
      • The knowledge will include some remedial measures for the development of Bangladesh economy.

      Instructions for Midterm Exam Summer 2021:

      1. The exam will be started at 4.15pm to6.45 pm on 10.7.2021.
      2. The exams must be completed by the allocated time.
      3. Each exam will be a combinations of MCQ, True -False, Short questions & Analytical questions.
      4. Part 1 is MCQ, carries 10 marks & Part 2 is written carries 15 marks.
      5. For part 1 , you will get 25 minutes and For part 2, you will get 1 hr. 30 minutes.
      6. Time: 4.15 pm to 4.45 pm (Part 1), 4.45 pm to 6.45 pm (Part 2)

To improve the productive health of all Nigerians at every stage of the life cycle.

      2.The major goal of the policy was to stem the high rate of population growth in order to facilitate socio-economic development. The 1969 policy underscored the fact that “the population of Ghana was the nation's most valuable resource and that it was both the instrument and objective of national development.

      3.Not more than two children, one better

      Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said the Directorate General of Family Planning should stop their one-child population control campaign. The department's present campaign slogan is “Not more than two children, one better.”
