    • GENERAL COURSE INSTRUCTIONS:

      • This course is of 3 credit hour so three classes (each class of 1 hour) per week
      • DIU BLC will be the only platform beside regular classes
      • Every student must be enrolled in DIU BLC
      • All assignment must be submitted in DIU BLC
      • Presentation will be video format which must be uploaded at DIUBLC
      • Three (3) class test will be taken for evaluation
      • Besides class test, there are class participation, quiz, assignment, interaction in forum based on lecture modules which will  be evaluated as bonus mark
      • Course will be delivered based on course outline and lesson plan, so students are requested to follow them.

  • RATIONALE:

    The course is designed to develop an understanding of methods and techniques used to analyze textile fibre, yarns and fabrics for end-use performance and to acquire knowledge and understanding of various structural properties of textiles and relate to end use fabric performance and product.

    COURSE OUTCOMES (COs): 

    After successful completion of the course, students will be able to-

    CO 1: Explain quality, quality control, quality assurance, textile testing and standards

    CO 2: Identify different quality and environmental standards practiced in textile industries

    CO 3: Estimate the quality of different steps of yarn, fabric and garments manufacturing including wet processing

    CO 4: Assess the quality of fibre, yarn, fabric and garments by required inspection methods

    Regulations:
    # The Assignment should be submitted hard copy first on or before 08/10/2023.
    # For late submission there will be negative marking.
    # Assignment can be submitted in both printed or hand written format.
    # There is no limit of pages (but should not provide a thesis)
    # It Should be submitted by each and every single student by him/herself.
    # Any kinds of copy from other classmate's assignment would cause negative marking.
    # Every single student must submit the soft copy (.pdf version) of his/her assignment on or before 15/10/2023 on BLC only soft copy submission will not be considered.
    # Late submission on BLC will also cause negative marking.
    # For online soft copy submission, students are must follow the criteria:
