Dear Students of TE327,
Welcome to TE327, Apparel Merchandising course. My name is Abdullah Al Mamun, and I am your instructor in this course. In addition to welcoming you to the course, I would like to give you some helpful information and a few hints for the successful completion of this course.
For many of you, this is not your first experience with an online course. You already know that online courses provide a different way to study and require different skills for students. As an online learner, you may already discover that self-motivation and discipline is the key to learning successfully. This means that you are completely responsible for establishing and maintaining a regular study system. In addition, some students anticipate that online courses will be easier than face-to-face courses which is not right at all. You will be responsible for the same course materials and the same standards of excellence that are required in face-to-face courses. While the E-learning team and I will provide you with support during the course but you should be aware of the self-discipline required to successfully complete TE327.
