Welcome to the course “Employability 360!" I am Emran Khan, your course teacher. I am looking forward to having an amazing semester with you all.
As you start this academic semester, take advantage of the many materials available here to help you achieve your full potential. I encourage you to get involve, engage and participate inside and outside the classroom. Also, please feel free to contact me with any questions, thoughts, and even concerns.

1. Rationale of the course:
Employability Skills for a sustainable career has become a very important issue at present. An entrepreneur or employer expects employability from everyone who is looking for a job or who is working in his or her organization. If Employability Skills are present in an employee, he / she can take his / her workplace far away from the current situation or implement specific goals by working in a team with his / her colleagues. And, this is exactly why an entrepreneur or an employer is always trying to find employability among every job seeker. Employability course will ensure that every student will be able to handle situations with his own capabilities like to find a new job or to switch a job or to work under team.
2. Course Objectives:
The specific objectives of the course are to:
· Enable the students to improve their soft and hard skill
· Provide the students proper industry knowledge
· Guide the students for career development
· Make the students more employable
3. Course Learning Outcomes (CLO):
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
CLO1
Equip with the knowledge, skills, Attitude and tools necessary for gaining the initial employment
CLO2
Understand and ensure the 'key competencies', careers advice and about the world of work which are embedded in this course.
CLO3
Know the necessary skills to maintain employment and make 'transitions' between jobs and roles within the same organization to meet new job requirements
CLO4
Understand and explain the most important transferable soft skills and hard skills for every job sectors of the world.
