This course will provide a basic understanding of national and global power generation and demand, the concept of electricity generation from different types of primary energy sources, familiarize with different conventional and renewable power plants and working principles, familiarize with power plant performance factor, important terms to design and estimate the production and cost of power plants and the concept of various electricity tariff plans.
