Short Profile of Professor Dr. A.K.M. Fazlul Haque
Professor Dr. A.K.M. Fazlul Haque received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh in 2011. He received his M.Sc. Engineering in Electrical, System Design and Technology, Department of Telecommunication, University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt, Germany in 2003 . Currently he is holding the post of Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Daffodil International University.
Professor Haque has authored around 100 (Hundred) referred journal/conference papers in National and International arena. His achievements include several awards related to teaching, research and supporting student activities. He has supervised more than 200 B.Sc. / M.Sc. thesis at Daffodil International University during the past years. He is also supervising Four PhD students.
His research interests center on Telemedicine, Signal Processing, Computer Networking, and Data Communication. In the networking arena, he has almost 12 years experience as Cisco Networking CCNA instructor. He has given numerous invited talks and tutorials in several conference/seminar and workshop. He is the fellow of Bangladesh Computer Society, Member of IEEE and, a life member of Bangladesh Electronic Society and also has membership in Germen Telecommunication Engineers and Cisco Networking.
Professor Haque has been the member of Quality Assurance Unit, Association University of Asia and Pacific and also the member of International Society for Development and Sustainability.

Rationale: Todays Telecommunication Network is a complex interconnection of a variety of heterogeneous switching systems This course has a focus on both different kinds of switching systems and different classes of telecommunication networks. These will help them to design an robust telecommunication networks with sufficient traffic and higher link rate.
Objective: 1. To build clear concept about data links, switching and voice networks.
2. Able to analyze hands-on problems on data rate management and switching performances and also traffic size.
3. Able to solve various problems on higher class network.
4. To improve communication skill through presentation.
5. To develop leadership quality through Group work.
6. To build up decision making ability through assignment.
7. To expand confident by doing various practical problem.
8. To become efficient engineer by solving real life problem through case study.
