    • Course Rationale:

Simulation modeling solves real-world problems safely and efficiently. It provides an important method of analysis which is easily verified, communicated, and understood. Across industries and disciplines, simulation modeling provides valuable solutions by giving clear insights into complex systems.

    • Course Objectives:

      • To introduce with the various system simulation and modeling techniques, and highlight their applications.
      • To introduce modeling, design, simulation, planning, verification and validation in the areas of simulation.
      • To develop skills among the learners of system simulation.
      • To make them able to solve real world problems, which cannot be solved by mathematical approaches.

    •  Course Outcomes (CO's):

      • CO1   Able to define the different modelling terms by analyzing the system or the data that is present.
      • CO2   Able to learn different mathematical model and their application in simulation.
      • CO3   Able to implement the model and from the results check for the correctness of the assumptions.
      • CO4   Able to analyse the outcomes and make predictions.

    • Additional Materials:

    • Google Classroom Code: keji5fe

    • Quick Navigation to Weeks: W-1, W-2, W-3, W-4, W-5, W-6, W-7, W-8, W-9, W-10, W-11, W-12, W-13, W-14

    • Lesson 9

In this lesson we will discuss about Probability Distribution, specially Poisson distribution, and Normal Distribution.

    • Lesson 10

In this lesson we will discuss about Simulation of a Telephone System, based on completeness, block and busyness of the system resources. And each call processing description with diagram.

      Expected Learning Outcome:

State of a telephony system, attributes of telephone call, test carried out in connecting a call.
