    • One discussion or feedback forum is created under each of the lecture Students have to give their feedback on these forum and marks will be given for their feedback
    • Any announcement regarding the class will be posted on Moodle. So they have to keep themselves always active on Moodle.
    • The question pattern and the syllabus for the final exam is given here. 


    Rationale:

    This subject deals with the knowledge of organic pharmacy to identify the unknown organic
    sample and able to explain significance of qualitative Analysis of organic compounds &
    synthesis of derivatives.


    Course objectives:

    • After completing of the practical the student should be able to explain correct use of various

              equipment & safety measures in Pharmaceutical Chemistry laboratory.

    • Identify the unknown organic sample
    •  In the end of the practical the student should be able to explain significance of qualitative

    Analysis of organic compounds & synthesis of derivatives.

    •  Explain how to synthesize different organic compounds along with reaction Mechanism.
    • Explain the structure of various compounds.


    Course Content:

    • Identification of simple organic compounds such as Benzoic acid.
    • Identification of simple organic compounds such as Salicylic acid
    • Identification of simple organic compounds such as Aspirin
    • Identification of simple organic compounds such as PABA
    • Identification of simple organic compounds such as PASA
