Rationale:
This subject deals with the knowledge of organic pharmacy to identify the unknown organic
sample and able to explain significance of qualitative Analysis of organic compounds &
synthesis of derivatives.
Course objectives:
- After completing of the practical the student should be able to explain correct use of various
equipment & safety measures in Pharmaceutical Chemistry laboratory.
- Identify the unknown organic sample
- In the end of the practical the student should be able to explain significance of qualitative
Analysis of organic compounds & synthesis of derivatives.
- Explain how to synthesize different organic compounds along with reaction Mechanism.
Explain the structure of various compounds.
