Differential and Integral Calculus (Spring 2023)

Objectives: 

•   Develop basic math skills in calculus.
•   Make students familiar with Limits, Curves, Derivatives, and Integrals.
•   Make students able to solve problems arise in the field of Engineering, Business, Economics etc.    using calculus.
•   Enhance student’s critical thinking and problem-solving ability.  
•   Recognize the properties of functions and their classification and various types of functions with     domain and range.
•   Apply differentiation accurately for implicit and logarithmic function.
•   Apply the differentiation to solve related rates and maxima and minima value problems.
•   Use the derivative to find tangent lines, Normal and asymptote to curves.
•   Perform accurately evaluating the definite and indefinite integral using integration by parts,            method of substitution, and reduction of order.
•   Understand and apply the procedures for integrating rational functions.
•   Evaluate multiple integrals of functions.
•   Evaluate definite integral by using Gamma and Beta Function.
•   Calculate the area and volume of solids objects.
