Limnology and oceanography is the interdisciplinary study of both inland waters and ocean waters. Limnology covers lakes, wetlands, ground water, and streams and oceanography cover the physical, chemical, biological and geological features of the ocean, including the ocean's ancient history, its current condition, and its future aspect.
