1. A fabric lot of 1300 inch long and 0.75 m width contains the following defects based on full inspection: 3 defects over 3 inch but up to 6 inch, 1 defect over 6 inch but up to 9 inch, 3 defect over 9 inch, 4 holes less than 1” and 2 holes more than 1”. Find out the grade of fabric based on 4-point system. Note that first two category of defects are found in 1 yard fabric.  

2.  A fabric lot of 30,000 m long and 140 cm width contains the following defects based on sample: 1 defects up to 3 inch, 2 defects over 3 inch but up to 6 inch, 4 defect over 6 inch but up to 9 inch, 2 defect over 9 inch and 2 holes less than 1”. Find out the grade of fabric based on 4-point system.
