To equip students with the knowledge about focal themes relating
to Bangladesh. The first theme is the inevitability of the emergence
of Bangladesh as a state entity in the context of a long socio-cultural
evolution. The second theme draws attention to the experience
of Bangladesh as a rising state in the developing world in terms of governance and democratization.
