Operating system is software that is required in order to run application programs and utilities. It works as a bridge to perform better interaction between application programs and hardware of the computer.
Every organization needs an operating system to guide & help to perform properly each & every component of that organization. A computer is an organization whose components are its user, hardware & software. An operating system works as an interface between the computer user & hardware in order to use the software's. It is responsible data retrieving , resource management & security of that system.
There have no organization which haven't need operating system for guide. OS help to perform properly to all component of that organization. For example in a computer there have user, hardware, software as components. OS works there as a interface between the user & hardware with using software. It's also work for data retrieving, resource management & security of that system.
