The six point movement was a movement in east Pakistan spearheaded by sheikh mujibur rahman which was called for greater autonomy for East Pakistan. The movement's main agenda was to realize the six demands put forward by a coalition of Bengali nationalist political parties in 1966, to end the perceived exploitation of East Pakistan by the west Pakistan rulers. It is considered a milestone on the road to Bangladesh independence.
War of Liberation, The began on 26 March 1971 and ended with the liberation of Bangladesh on 16 December 1971. The armed struggle was the culmination of a series of events, situations and issues contributing to the progressively deteriorating relations between East and West Pakistan. It pursued the systematic elimination of nationalist Bengali civilians, students, intelligentsia, religious minorities and armed personel.
