IPS : IPS stands for Intrusion Prevention System. Similar to an IDS, an IPS is a security technology that monitors network traffic or system events to detect potential security threats. However, an IPS goes a step further by actively preventing or blocking suspicious or malicious activities in real-time.

Honeypot: A honeypot is a decoy system or network that is intentionally set up to lure potential attackers. It is designed to mimic a legitimate target and appears to contain valuable information or resources. The main purpose of a honeypot is to gather information about attackers' tactics, techniques, and intentions, allowing organizations to study and understand potential threats.
