The Sultanate period in India refers to the era when a series of Muslim dynasties ruled over various regions of the Indian subcontinent, beginning with the establishment of the Delhi Sultanate in 1206 and continuing until the Mughal Empire's ascent in the early 16th century. This period is marked by the r
