Research is important because it:

Unlocks the unknowns, lets you explore the world from different perspectives, and fuels a deeper understanding.
Guides action, gathers evidence for theories, and contributes to the growth of knowledge in data analysis.
Builds a better understanding, decision making and, discerning and analytical ideas to facilitate better results.
Is critical in the development of new medicines as well as ensuring that existing treatments are used to their full potential.
